The Fulfil Framework

The Fulfil Framework was born from lived experience and refined through hundreds of hours of tutoring.

It provides the predictability and safety required for meaningful learning.

Whether your child is waiting for a diagnosis, battling anxiety, or bridging a gap in provision, the Fulfil Framework can help them feel safe, capable, and proud of their academic progress.

1 - The Foundation

Starting with the person; safety before syllabus.

  • Wellbeing: We move at your speed, balancing academic goals with energy levels, ensuring we set realistic targets.

  • Mindset: We’ll work together to gently build a growth mindset, reframing mistakes as data rather than evidence of failure.

  • Goals: You’ll set a specific, achievable goal for our tutoring. Progress is measured by confidence, not just curriculum speed.

  • Motivation: I can help you find your "why" - the internal drive that keeps you going when things get tough.

2 - Preparing to Learn

Providing the structure that neurodivergent and anxious minds crave.

  • Environment: I create a flexible online environment for learning, so you can learn in a low-demand, safe space where focus is actually possible.

  • Resources: I curate "Everything Lists" and materials for you, so your energy is saved for learning.

  • Planning: I explicitly teach the executive functioning skills schools often skip - helping you plan revision and manage time without panic.

  • The Audit: We’ll assess exactly where your knowledge gaps are, so I don't waste time (or bore you) with what you already know.

3 - The Learning Loop

Moving from passive listening to active mastery.

  • Understanding: I use metaphors, dual coding, and clear instruction to ensure concepts click for neurodiverse brains.

  • Scaffolding: I use the "I do, We do, You do" model, building confidence and independence.

  • Feedback: I provide instant, non-judgmental feedback, diagnosing mistakes, suggesting actions and removing shame.

  • The Re-Run: We won’t move on until you've tried again and succeeded, proving to yourself that you can do it.

4 - Memory and Revision

Moving knowledge to long-term memory using science, not stress.

  • Memorisation: I teach active recall techniques (like blurting and flashcards) to replace passive, ineffective re-reading.

  • Routine: Weekly lessons create routine, fighting the forgetting curve and providing structure to reflect on independent learning.

  • Rest: I emphasise the role of sleep and breaks. Rest is productive.

  • Maintenance: I use interleaving (mixing topics) to keep reviewing content, preventing the panic of forgetting everything before exams.

5 - Exam Confidence

Turning learning into marks by decoding the system.

  • Strategy: I decode the examiner's language, turning the unknown of exam papers into a predictable set of instructions.

  • Simulation: I encourage timed practice to build stamina, exposing students to exam conditions in a safe space to reduce the fear factor.

  • Review: We analyse mock papers together to spot patterns and review where marks were lost to knowledge gaps, technique, or panic.

  • Regulation: I share practical regulation strategies to help you stay calm and focused in the exam hall, so anxiety doesn't steal your grades.
